Lok Sabha elections: Congress names 3 candidates, Scindia from Guna & Patel from Vidisha
BHOPAL: Congress on Friday declared candidates for three more
Mona Sustani has been named as party candidate from the traditional seat of Digvijaya Singh in Rajgarh. Singh had not contested the previous election after being nominated to Rajya Sabha and he is now contesting from Bhopal. . Names for both Guna and Rajgarh were almost certain.
The third seat,
Lok Sabha
seats from Madhya Pradesh. With this, the party has declared candidate 25 out of 29 Lok Sabha seats as against 21 by the BJP. The candidates declared include incumbent MP from Guna,Jyotiradtya Scindia

, for which candidate has been declared, Congress has fielded former MLA Shailendra Patel. Patel, who was MLA from Ichchawar in 2013- 2018 Vidhan Sabha, had lost the December 2018 election by a narrow margin. He has also been Youth Congress president for Vdisha. Former MP, Pratapbhanu Sharma, former minister Rajkumar Patel and a few more names were in the race from the seat but the party chose a young face for this BJP-bastion, which former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has represented six times and is now held by foreign minister, Sushma Swaraj, now.Popular from Business
