Out of the 29 parliamentary constituencies of

Madhya Pradesh

, notification for six — Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat and

Chhindwara

— has been published. These six parliamentary constituencies are spread over 3 divisions and 11 districts Elections here will be held on April 29. Additional secretary of ECI, Santosh Kumar, additional chief electoral officer Arun Kumar Tomar, joint chief electoral officer, Abhijeet Agarwal, divisional commissioners and IGs of the three divisions along with the collectors and SPs of all the 11 districts were present in the meeting.

Rao reviewed the availability of human resource, requirement of vehicles, details about the vulnerable and critical polling booths. He instructed that the state borders be sealed and continuous contact should be established with the officials from neighbouring states.
