Bhupedra Singh Baghel calls Pragya Singh Thakur a ‘habitual criminal’
BHOPAL/JABALPUR:
Addressing a press conference at Jabalpur, Baghel said BJP had lost all the state assembly elections in 2018, including those in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Telangana, which amply indicate the outcome of 2019 Lok Sabha election. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in an attempt to bolster his image, is giving interviews to not only media but film stars as well but it won’t help him. He said the Election Commission should declare Modi’s interview to film star Akshay Kumar as “paid news”. Calling Akshay Kumar an “outsider”, Baghel said that he is a Canadian citizen.
Baghel said that Modi doesn’t have answers to questions of the people. This is the reason why he never addressed any press conference in his five-year stint and now film actors are interviewing him.
He said Modi gives brooms to people of the country and himself proceeds on foreign trips. He has nothing to show as his achievement in five years and this is the reason why he is seeking votes in the name of Indian armed forces and their valour.
Describing “Nyay” scheme of the Congress as path-breaking, Baghel said that Rs 72,000 to each poor family would definitely usher in a more equitable India. Baghel said that he has seen BJP led by Atal and Advani, but it is now being led by a person “exiled” from his state. He said BJP leaders have lost their composure in the face of an imminent defeat in the Lok Sabha election and that is why BJP state president in MP Rakesh Singh is glorifying terrorists and their sacrifices, while former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is speaking like “Gabbar Singh” of Sholay movie.
