Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka: Second phase voting underway

seats in Karnataka, where the contest is between the ruling Congress-JD(S) combine and the BJP.

Elections are on at 11 Lok Sabha constituencies of the region and one each in Malnad and Central Karnataka.

During the morning hours, a brisk voting was recorded in both rural and urban areas.

It is expected that the voting percentage would increase after 3 pm as most people will come out to vote in the evening.

Shivamogga constituency of Malnad region had received highest response of 10.12%, while Haveri had a minimum voting percentage of 5.75% by 10am. Chikkodi (8.76%),
