: Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy on Wednesday said that his government will survive beyond theLok Sabha elections
and that he will be here for a few more years to serve the people. He also stated that along with the farm loan waiver scheme, he is planning another scheme to make all the poor debt-freeShikaripura
of the district, he launched a scathing attack on former chief minister and BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa, alleging that he is the most corrupt chief minister the state has ever seen.“I would have died at Israel itself. Doctors advised me to take treatment immediately. Instead of treatment I asked them to give tablets for five days. My best friend, BJP leader KS Eshwarappa, predicted that I will die after the Lok Sabha election. But I will not. I will be here for a few more years to serve the people,” he said.
Kumaraswamy, who delivered emotional speeches in both the places, urged the Veerashaivas to think realistically and vote. “What is the contribution of Yeddyurappa and his family to Shikaripura? Under my farm loan waiver scheme, it was the Veerashaivas who benefited the most. They should cast their vote thinking beyond their caste,” he said.
“The national banks are not helping us to implement the farm loan waiver scheme effectively. Blame Modi and Yeddyurappa for this. They are stopping the national banks from helping us,” he said.
He also stated that he is planning another scheme to make all the poor in the state debt free. “Please believe my concerns,” he said.
Stating that former chief minister late S Bangarappa was not able to complete his term due to the conspiracy of a few, he stated that it was the late leader who brought changes in the lives of the millions of poor in the state through his schemes like free electricity, housing etc. “My government is committed to continue the same,” he said.
“Chaiwala was the pet term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last election. Now he has left the chaiwala at the railway station itself,” he chided.

stated on Wednesday that the Mandya election campaign overshadowed even the rallies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. “But I am sure that Mandya people will not let me down,” he said.He questioned the committment of Sumalatha for Mandya, asking whether she knows about the self-pride of Mandya people.
He also took a dig at former chief minister SM Krishna stating those whose heart responds to the problems of the people causes tears. He also made it clear that he only asked major irrigation minister DK Shivakumar to stay back in Bengaluru Rural and come to Shivamogga later in the week. “He will campaign for three days from Friday in Shivamogga,” he said.
“Modi is not the chowkidar of the poor. He is the chowkidar of the rich. He will not return to the power again,” he said.
Helicopter checked
The helicopter in which CM Kumaraswamy arrived at Shivamogga was checked by the election flying squad. The election observers also kept a close watch on the CM"s events in the district.
