Singh, who has been in various multinational companies for the last 21 years, said: “There is lack of vision and knowledge in the traditional leaders owing to which the nation is left behind in terms of overall development and standard of living.”

He further said, “These needs to be changed and hence, I am contesting to bring in the changes.”

Singh has done his graduation in science from Delhi University and Masters in business administration from Lucknow University.

On incumbent BJP MP, P N Singh, he said: “The coal belt has been having him as our representative for the last 10 years but he has not been able to present a single private member bill in the last five years in Parliament. In this

election

, voters will have an opportunity to elect a qualified and knowledgeable candidate for over all development of Dhanbad.”

Taking a dig at BJP as well as Congress, Singh said a beautifully planned city like Bokaro Steel City has been ravaged in past few years by both the parties. “There is no one to take notice of the polluted and high ammonia content drinking water. Morever, the streets are narrow and their is lack of vision for their development,” he said

Talking about his strategy to win the election and campaigning, Singh said, “One-to-one contact with people and small public meetings would be conducted. I cannot compare my election campaign with cash-rich parties, but a few posters, banners and hoarding would be placed at strategic locations across the constituency. The advertisement materials would contain my vision and agenda with my photograph unlike BJP and Congress who display either Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi’s photo as if it is going to be a presidential form of government.”
