Himachal Pradesh: ITBP man joins BJP in uniform, triggers controversy

DHARAMSHALA: BJP gave the ammunition to Congress by making an ITBP official joining the party in uniform publicly in presence of chief minister Jairam Thakur during a political rally of party candidate

reacting at this move said that BJP has crossed all the limits, its leaders are already cashing on armed forces and martyrdom across the country. But this is the height that now people from paramilitary forces are coming in uniform to political rallies, he added.

“BJP is misusing its power, the leaders are already cashing on martyrdom of jawans and on armed forces to get votes. But it is a shameful act of the party leaders that they have given up respect for the uniform also and has made it a political affair now” he said.

Congress has already filed a complaint against BJP for pressurizing government officials in Himachal to gather crowd in party rallies. BJP had organized a massive rally here on Friday to mark the nomination filling of its party candidate Kishan Kapoor from Kangra Lok Sabha.
