SHIMLA: Himachal chief minister Jai Ram Thakur has said that the opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, were dreaming to become the Prime Minister and in a democratic set up, everyone had a right to see any dream. "However, the fact is that after the five-phase elections, they are struggling to become the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha," he added.
The CM said people of the country had clearly made up their mind to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again and opposition leaders had admitted that their 'Mahagathbandhan' would not be able to form the coalition government.

While campaigning for BJP candidate Ram Swaroop Sharma from Mandi parliamentary seat, Thakur was in Spiti and Kinnaur on Wednesday. Addressing the gathering, he said in the previous Lok Sabha elections, yjr BSP could not open its account, Samajwadi Party had five MPs, TMC 34 and Congress won only 44 seats and it was ridiculous that now the leaders of these parties were again dreaming to become the Prime Minister.
He added, "Reality is that this Mahagathbandhan is going to last till May 23 and after these leaders will start fighting for the post of the leader of the opposition."
He said that the Opposition has no vision on issues related to the country's development and national security. In the last five years, the Modi government started various schemes for the most vulnerable sections of the society and the outcomes of these efforts are visible.
However, the opposition wants to create hindrance in implementation of these schemes without realising that if the Ujjwala scheme is stopped then the women of poor families will again struggle for fuel.
