NEW DELHI: AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that Delhi will get the status of a full state if the party wins all seven

"To get full statehood, we will have to unite and fight for it. Today, no one knows which party will be at the Centre. Exuding confidence that the AAP will form the next government in the capital in 2020, Kejriwal said the party will have to struggle for every small work if the party that obstructs Delhi government forms the central government again.

"We made a mistake five years ago by voting for a party that obstructs work in Delhi. Voting for them again will be a big mistake," the chief minister said. "If you want better safety and security for women, admission for your children in colleges, better sanitation and jobs, Delhi will have to become a full-fledged state".

Listing his achievements in Delhi, Kejriwal said the AAP government did not allow private schools to hike their fees unjustly in the last few years. "When some schools tried to hike fees we moved the court and got a stay order. This was only possible because you elected an honest government," the CM said.
