Delhi BJP chief
Manoj Tiwari on Friday said more than 4,000 people, including sitting and former MLAs, municipal councillors and party functionaries at the state and district level will listen to the PM’s address from Talkatora Stadium.
Party president Amit Shah will join one such gathering at Wazirpur Industrial Area in Chandni Chowk constituency, while Union home minister Rajnath Singh will join the event at Ganesh Chowk. Sushma Swaraj will be present at West Delhi’s Uttam Nagar along with party workers and locals.
Union defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman and party general secretary Ram Lal will join Modi at the Talkatora Staidum. Modi’s address will be beamed across the country at 500 places, where gatherings of BJP workers, chowkidars (watchmen), traders, farmers among others will listen to the PM and interact with him through video-conferencing.
“Modi has received tremendous, which is evident by around 17 crore impressions and 30 lakh tweets related to the ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ hashtag so far. The masses stood in his support after Rahul Gandhi crossed limits of decency and heaped allegations on him without any evidence,” Tiwari said. Senior party members said that Modi will also take a few questions from public.
