NEW DELHI: AAP on Wednesday launched the second phase of its election campaign, which focuses on door-to-door connection with voters where AAP leaders and workers will try to “expose” BJP MPs.
AAP has claimed that the first phase generated strong support from people of the city and the issue of full statehood —the main issue for AAP in the LS polls — is now resonating with them.

The second phase was launched from the North East LS seat from where AAP has fielded Dilip Pandey. “The target is to reach out to 35 lakh voters in this phase. A large number of voters in Delhi belong to the salaried class that is not able to attend public meetings because of work. We will reach out to all of them,” said AAP Delhi convenor Gopal Rai.
The second phase will be led by 13,814 booth presidents of the party and supported by 70,000 grassroots level workers.
