Vizag collector clarifies on defence personnel ballots

defence personnel ballots

The collector made it very clear that the defence personnel ballots had been up-loaded on the Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot system by March 30.

This clarification came in the wake of YSRCP leadership alleging that the ballots had not been uploaded properly.

The collector said that the ballots were uploaded by the concerned returning officers of various constituencies and noted that it was the responsibility of the unit commanding officer adding that if the ballot had not reached the in-service voter, it was his right and duty to ask for it.

There are 6,943 such voters from the district and all their ballots had been uploaded by March 30 2019.

The maximum number of such voters, 1,199 was from the Bhimili constituency. This clarification was issued to the YSRCP delegation led by the Bhimili assembly constituency candidate M Srinivas.
