KCR suppressing Dalits in state, alleges Kishan Reddy
HYDERABAD: After failing to install a 125-foot Ambedkar statue on Necklace Road, the Telangana government is now removing all the Ambedkar statues in the city, BJP ex-MLA G Kishan Reddy alleged.
He demanded an explanation from the state government as to why the Ambedkar statue was removed by the authorities when statues of other personalities erected in the city were illegal.
Earlier, the BJP protested at the Tank Bund Ambedkar statue against the GHMC’s removal of Ambedkar statue at Punjagutta. BJP MP Bandaru Dattatreya, Kishan Reddy, BJP MLC N Ramchander Rao, and senior leader Chinta Samba Murthy were among those present. They demanded that the government take action against the people who removed and demolished the statue.
