NEW DELHI: With less than two weeks left for the assembly elections,
BJP is yet to finalize its manifesto. Sources say the state unit has prepared the draft and is waiting for chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi’s suggestions.
The party may release its vision document after AAP’s manifesto, sources said. Union minister Harsh Vardhan has been given the task of preparing it.
The final draft will be approved by BJP chief Amit Shah, but Bedi’s inputs will be crucial.
After joining the party, Bedi has put women’s safety as her priority. However, Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay said that the one-point agenda of the manifesto will be “good governance”.
“Presently, the focus is on planning the PM’s rallies. The manifesto will be released either on February 2 or at one of the rallies,” said a senior member.
