In Sonarpur Uttar, Debasish Dhar of BJP secured a comfortable win, polling 1,19,824 votes and defeating TMC’s Firdousi Begam by a margin of 9,807 votes. CPI(M)’s Monalisa Sinha finished third with 19,744 votes, as BJP emerged victorious.

In the Sonarpur Uttar constituency of West Bengal, counting is still under way with BJP holding the lead at this stage. The seat, currently held by TMC's Firdousi Begum, is being watched closely as votes continue to be tallied. No result has been declared yet for this West Bengal assembly segment.

In Bishnupur, West Bengal, BJP candidate Shukla Chatterjee is currently leading with 10,953 votes. The seat is currently held by TMC's Tanmay Ghosh (Bumba), who is trailing in second place with 9,773 votes. The margin between the two stands at 1,180 votes with counting still underway.

Monalisa Sinha, contesting on a Communist Party of India (Marxist) ticket, is one of 13 candidates whose votes are being tallied in Sonarpur Uttar May 4. As counting progresses, the round-wise figures will show how they have fared across the constituency.
