Ranaghat Uttar Purba Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: BJP’s Ashim Biswas defeats TMC’s Barnali Dey Roy by 51,743 votes
Ashim Biswas (Bharatiya Janata Party), Nitya Gopal Mondal (Congress), Barnali Dey Roy (Trinamool Congress), Bindu Biswas (Bahujan Samaj Party), Mrinal Biswas (Mini) (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), Jagadish Mandal (Jogo) (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), Asim Biswas (Independent), Asim Biswas (Independent), Gobinda Podder (Independent), Barnali Biswas (Independent), and Madhab Das (Independent) — 11 candidates contesting from Ranaghat Uttar Purba in West Bengal's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Ranaghat Uttar Purba is a Scheduled Caste (SC) reserved constituency, with 264,929 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Ashim Biswas of the Bharatiya Janata Party won by a margin of 31,782 votes. The 2016 winner was Samir Kumar Poddar of the TMC. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Ranaghat Uttar Purba in 2026.
