In Murshidabad, Gouri Sankar Ghosh of BJP secured a decisive victory, polling 1,14,443 votes and defeating TMC’s Shaoni Singha Roy by a margin of 31,521 votes. Singha Roy finished second with 82,922 votes after all 23 EVM rounds were counted.
