Kalyani Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: BJP’s Anupam Biswas wins by 34,792 vote margin
Atindra Nath Mondal (Trinamool Congress), Anupam Biswas (Bharatiya Janata Party), Asimananda Majumder (Congress), Ramkrishna Barai (Bahujan Samaj Party), Sabuj Das (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), Prankrishna Biswas (Babu) (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), Anupam Biswas (Independent), Pulak Adhikary (Independent), Bishwajit Das (Independent), and Subrata Das (Independent) — 10 candidates contesting from Kalyani in West Bengal's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Kalyani is a Scheduled Caste (SC) reserved constituency under the Bangaon Lok Sabha segment, with 257,683 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Ambika Roy of the Bharatiya Janata Party won by a margin of 2,206 votes. The 2016 winner was Ramendra Nath Biswas of the TMC. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Kalyani in 2026.
