Amal Kisku (Trinamool Congress), Joyel Murmu (Bharatiya Janata Party), Basudev Murmu (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), Rajen Soren (Congress), Nicholas Soren (Kamatapur Peoples Party (United)), Babulal Hasda (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Bimal Murmu (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), Baburam Kisku (Independent), Manjla Mardi (Independent), and Lakhin Hembrom (Independent) — 10 candidates contesting from Habibpur in West Bengal's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Habibpur is a Scheduled Tribe (ST) reserved constituency under the Maldaha Uttar Lok Sabha segment, with 249,557 voters on its electoral rolls.
