GORAKHPUR: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president
JP Nadda on Saturday appealed people to vote for BJP-NISHAD Party candidate Vivekanand Pandey at Khadda in Kushinagar , saying "the
BJP has always worked for the development of poor farmers and everyone who has been left behind in the society". He added that
Samajwadi Party (SP) chief
Akhilesh Yadav has been born with a silver spoon so he can't help and do any good to the poor people.
"When
PM Modi ji opened Jan-Dhan accounts for the poor, opposition leaders ridiculed him. Akhilesh Yadav ji has been born with a silver spoon and has nothing to do with poor people's Jan-Dhan bank accounts. These people can't do any good to the poor and they don't want the poor to come out of their cycle as their accounts are not here, they are somewhere else," Nadda said while addressing people in Khadda," said Nadda.
"When karsevaks were fighting for Ramjanmabhoomi, SP opened fire on Ram Bhakts. Our slogan was 'Ramlala hum aayenge aur Mandir wahin banayenge'. Today, a grand temple is getting constructed and it is the force of your vote," he said.
"Once UP was known as a BIMARU state but now development is taking place and the state is getting developed. People want to invest here and establish factories. BJP has always worked for the development of the poor, farmers and people left behind in the society. We are making schemes to make them self-reliant," the BJP chief said.
He further said, "Yogi Adityanath led by PM Modi played an important role in the development of the state and no other party has the strength to come with a report card in front of people and you people are the strength of BJP."
