PRAYAGRAJ: The Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday promised to fill all the 11 lakh vacant positions in the education department besides undertaking special drive for recruitment in the army and in police after coming to power in Uttar Pradesh.
Akhilesh made this announcement during a public meeting at Karachhana area of the trans-Yamuna area of the district on Tuesday.

He further added that by the end of the fourth phase of elections, SP would make a century and in the subsequent phases, it would enhance its position to win the elections with a thumping majority.
Yadav said that BJP is a party of lies. The small leaders of BJP tell small lies and big leaders tell bigger lies while the biggest leader tells the biggest lies. And now these liars have come to seek votes.
“Magar longo ne mann bana liya hai ki inko ‘maaf’ nahi ‘saaf’ ker denge” (but the people have made up their mind, they will not to forgive them, rather wipe them off),” said Akhilesh.
"They (BJP leaders) have said that farmers’ earnings will be doubled but the farmers know how big a lie that was. Farmers went to get fertilizers and never got it. Diesel and petrol prices have risen alarmingly and so has the price of LPG cylinders. Question papers of recruitment exams got leaked and exams had to be cancelled. Youngsters with BEd and TET certificates are having to struggle for jobs," he said.

Akhilesh asked said his party will fulfill all the promises in the manifesto.
"We will absorb the BEd and TET qualified youngsters by ensuring them jobs. Those working as instructors in government schools have had to struggle, we will help them," says Akhilesh.
This Baba CM (read Yogi Adityanath) whose development is limited to changing names and laying foundation stones has even had his name changed by the media to “Baba Bulldozer”, he said. He also attacked chief minister Yogi Adityanath, referring to him as baba mukhyamantri, over his 'garmi nikalna' (to calm down somebody) remark.
“Baba CM is saying he will take out garmi (heat) but I am sure that people vote here, just like in the earlier phases of the polls, it is they who will further develop cold feet. It’s the samajwadis who will take you towards prosperity and solve the problems of farmers, unemployed and even the problems being faced by the state and the economy would all be addressed effectively by us," said Akhilesh.
Akhilesh said that the tribal people of the trans-Yamuna area of the district would be given priority in providing Samajwadi pension scheme.
