ALLAHABAD: Even as all political parties — Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP),

TOI looks at the players, how the castes are spread out and the breakup of the castes in 12 assembly seats of the Allahabad district.

At Koroan assembly seat, Kol (18 %), Dalits (13 %) and Brahmin (12 %) community not only dominate in Koroan assembly seat but could prove a deciding factor to ensure the triumph of candidate. In same constituency, the presence of Thakur (9 %), OBC (8%) and Muslims (7 %) could also change the equations if comes tighter.

At Phaphamau assembly seat, OBC (19%) and Muslims (15%) are dominant factor but other communities including Brahmin (9 %), Yadav (12%) , Dalit (12%), and Pasi (8%) could also make or dent the prospects of any candidate.

At Soroan assembly seat, OBC (20%), Muslim (18%) and Yadav (13%) are dominant to decide the fate of candidates but presence of other communities like Brahmin (9%), Dalits (10%) and Thakur (7%) could also change equation on this reserved seat.

At Phulpur assembly seat, OBC (21%), Yadav (12%), Dalit (11%), and Thakurs (10%) are prominent to decide the fate of candidate but other communities like Pasi (10%), Brahmin (7%) and Others (11%) are enough to change the equations.

At Pratappur assembly seat, OBC (21%), Yadav (12%) , Dalit (11%), and Muslim (11%) are deciding factor but other communities like Brahmin (9%), Thakur (7%), and Pasi (10%) could change the equations.

At Handia assembly seat, OBC (17%), Brahmin (10%), Yadav (10%) and Dalit (12%) are prominent to decide the fate of candidate but other communities like Thakur (8%), Pasi (7%) and Muslim (10%) could play an effective role in elections.

At Meja assembly seat, Brahmin (15%), Thakur (13%), and Dalit (15%) are prominent but presence of other communities like Muslims (10%), OBC (6%) and Yadav (6%) could change the equation of any candidate.

At Karchana assembly seat, Bhoomihar (15%), Dalit (12%), Thakur (10%), Yadav (10%), and Muslim (11%) are prominent but other caste including Brahmin (9%), Vaishya (6%), and OBC (7%) could make or dent the prospects of any candidate.

At Bara assembly seat, Dalit (18%), Muslims (14%), OBC (13%) and Brahmin (11%) are prominent but votes of Thakur (8%), Yadav (6%), and Pasi (6%) communities are too needed to decide winning equations.

At City West assembly segment, Muslims (22%), Pasi (10%), OBC (22%) and Brahmin (10%) are prominent caste but presence of other caste like Thakuar (8%), Vaishya (7%), Yadav (6%), Dalit (6%) and others (10%) could be enough to decide the fate of candidates.

At City North assembly seat, Kayatha (12%), Brahmin (10%), Dalit (13%) and Yadav (8%) are prominent but support of Thakur (6%), Vaishya (6%), OBC (5%) are too needed to ensure the triumph of candidate.

At City South assembly seat, Vaishya (10%), Brahmin (10%), OBC (10%) and Dalit (10%) and Muslims (20%) are prominent but other caste like Thakur (6%), Yadav (6%), Kayastha (8%), and Pasi (7%) could play a major role in deciding the fate of candidates.
