Just hours after the release of the manifesto by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for the upcoming Telangana Assembly polls, Prakash Javadekar, the former Union minister and BJP's representative for the elections, declared on October 15 that the BRS manifesto held no value. He confidently stated that the BJP would emerge victorious in the Telangana elections, while the Congress would secure the third position. Javadekar criticized the BRS for failing to fulfill their promises, such as providing land to Dalits and tribals, filling 3 lakh job vacancies, and granting a Rs 3000 allowance to unemployed youth. He asserted that the BRS promises lacked credibility and were widely disbelieved.
