Punjab elections: Bikram Singh Majithia, O P Soni campaign in Amritsar

AMRITSAR: Shiromani Akali Dal's Amritsar East candidate, Bikram Singh Majithia, and the Congress candidate from Amritsar Central, O P Soni, addressed public gatherings on Wednesday
The deputy chief minister held election rallies at Gurbaksh Nagar, Aman Avenue and Ramanand Bagh during the day. "More than 95% development work promised earlier has been completed.The Congress will continue with development work," Soni told voters.
Addressing a public gathering, Akali leader Majithia said Sidhu had deceived the people of Amritsar East with hollow promises. "Every time election is near, he talks about new models. He suddenly starts talking about establishing sports stadiums and bridges. But once the elections are over, he leaves people to their fate," he said.
The SAD made the announcement to correct all alleged wrongs committed against them by Congress.
