Tarur Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: CPM's Sumod wins with 11,910-vote margin
Narayanankutty K T (Bahujan Samaj Party), Subramanian K C (Congress), Sumod (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), and Sureshbabu M (Bharatiya Janata Party) — 4 candidates contesting from Tarur in Kerala's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Tarur is a Scheduled Caste (SC) reserved constituency under the Alathur Lok Sabha segment. In 2021, P.P.sumod of the Communist Party Of India (marxist) won by a margin of 24,531 votes. The 2016 winner was A.K. Balan of the CPM. The 2021 turnout was 78.13%. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Tarur in 2026.
