Gundlupet is an assembly constituency located in the Indian state of Karnataka. The Gundlupet assembly constituency has a total of 2,03,548 registered voters, as per the data released by the Election Commission of India in 2021. The constituency was formed in 1957 after Mysore State was reorganized as the result of States Reorganisation Act, 1956.

In the 2018 Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections, the Gundlupet assembly constituency was won by C.S. Niranjan Kumar of the Bharatiya Janata Party party. He defeated his closest rival, M.C. Mohan Kumari of the Indian National Congress party, by a margin of 16,684 votes.

This constituency comes under the Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha constituency. Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 28 parliamentary constituencies in the state of Karnataka, India. It covers the entire Chamarajanagar district along with parts of Mysuru district. The Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha constituency was formed in 2008, after the delimitation of parliamentary constituencies. It is currently represented in the Lok Sabha by Shri. V. Sreenivasa Prasad, who won the seat in the 2019 Indian general election as a candidate of the BJP.
