Tuticorin: Vaiko withdrew from the fray due to fear of losing the election and is instead making false allegations against the DMK, said party treasurer M K Stalin, while campaigning in Tuticorin on Tuesday.
Addressing the gathering, Stalin said that each passing day strengthened confidence in their party's victory in the ensuing election. "A person has left saying he will not contest the elections, you know who he is.
I will not make any derogatory remarks about anybody. I would not have even mentioned this if he had just opted out, but he has alleged that the DMK is trying to bring about communal unrest, which I strongly condemn," he said.
That person also made derogatory remarks about Kalaignar, which was condemned by a member of his own alliance. "Kalaignar magnanimously forgave him," he said. tnn
