Three held for threat SMS to Tamilisai

CHENNAI: A 60-year-old woman, her son and daughter were arrested by Chennai city police for sending a threat message to BJP state president Tamilisai Soundarajan on May 2. The arrested were identified as P Bhuvaneshwari, 60, her daughter Nagavalli, 27 and son Nagaraj, 24.

The trio told police that they were recently evicted from after an AIADMK worker advised their house owner to vacate them as they did not pay rent.They decided to take revenge and bought a sim card in the name of the AIADMK man and sent a threat message to the BJP leader, asking her to withdraw from the electoral race. Police traced the call and arrested them after they used the sim to call one of their relatives.
