Water scheme to all Vellore villages: M K Stalin

said his party will extend the Combined Water Supply Scheme (CWSS) to all the villages in

Vellore

if the party is voted to power.

Campaigning for Vellore constituency candidate P Karthikeyan on Wednesday, Stalin said the DMK government had drafted CWSS and laid foundation stone for it in 2011. But chief minister Jayalalithaa claimed credit for the project.

He also said DMK will build subways along the Vellore-Arcot Road at CMC Hospital and Anna Salai at Venkateswara School junction and ring road to avoid traffic congestion.
