TRICHY: The election commission should have derecognised parties indulging in bribing voters rather than postponing the election, said coordinator of PWF-DMDK-TMC alliance Vaiko at Aravakurichi in Karur.
Campaigning for the candidate of the six-party alliance, K Kalaiarasan, in the Aravakurichi assembly constituency where election was postponed to May 23, Vaiko said democracy had been buried deep by the DMK and the AIADMK.

Citing an exit poll, Vaiko said anything could happen, the DMK may come to power. But the majority of the votes which we would gain in this election would be those of the youth.
Vaiko, who campaigned at Chinna Dharapuram, Thumbivadi, Paramathi and Velayuthampalayam, said he stood by the farmers in the state for their welfare without any vested interest.
