AIADMK leading but many ministers may bite the dust

CHENNAI: Though AIADMK is in a formidable position to form the government in Tamil Nadu, many senior ministers may bite the dust. This includes the inner coterie of the present government.
Minister R Vaithilingam lost to Ramachandran M of DMK for a margin of 2522 votes in Orathanadu in Thanjavur district.
Among the big names who are trailing is state power minister Natham Viswanathan in Athoor constituency in Dindigul district. Two women ministers Gokula Indira and B Valarmathi are also trailing in the Chennai constituencies of Anna Nagar and Thousand Lights respectively.
Another minister R Vaithialingam was trailing from the start at Orathanadu in Thanjavur district.
