Tamil Nadu election results 2016: Stalin greets Jayalalithaa

CHENAI: DMK leader M K Stalin on Thursday congratulated chief minister J Jayalalithaa and chose to issue a statement on Facebook.
Stalin said his party respected the people’s verdict and would work as a responsible opposition party.
“We hope the AIADMK will act with restraint and allow the assembly to function in a manner benefiting the people of Tamil Nadu.I also take this opportunity to congratulate Selvi J Jayalalithaa,” he posted on his Facebook page
Stalin thanked the people of Kolathur for electing him. “A big thank you to the people of Kolathur for re-electing me as your MLA. I will continue my efforts to make Kolathur a model constituency in Tamil Nadu,” he posted on his Facebook page.
