The youngest CM candidate in the Tamil Nadu assembly election, PMK's Dr Anbumani Ramadoss, tasted defeat in his constituency of Pennagaram in Dharmapuri district.
DHARMAPURI: The youngest CM candidate in the Tamil Nadu assembly election, PMK's Dr Anbumani Ramadoss, tasted defeat in his constituency of Pennagaram in Dharmapuri district.
At the end of 21 rounds, Anbumani secured 58,024 votes while his opponent Inbasekaran of DMK got 76,866 votes.
According to election department officials, Anbumani was leading only in the postal votes and began trailing when they started counting votes from the EVMs.

“He was switching between second place and third place from the very beginning,” the officials said.
