Return to Congress, TNCC chief tells TMC men

The day TMC joined the PWF-DMDK alliance, Congress renewed its call to Vasan to rejoin the par call to Vasan to rejoin the parent party . Speaking to mediapersons, TNCC chief E V K S Elangovan said TMC should merge with Congress.
“I request all the leaders of the TMC to rejoin Congress as Sathyamurthy Bhavan is their native place and they have every right to come back,“ said Elangovan.But shortly , the TNCC chief attacked Vasan for holding talks with BJP.“How can TMC hold talks with a party whose leaders were accused of killing Mahatma Gandhi and making an attempt on Kamaraj's life?“ asked Elangovan.
On the DMK not allotting Aravakurichi to Congress and one of its leaders Jyothimani threatening to contest as an independent, Elangovan said, “We did ask for the constituency for Congress but DMK said the party had won from that constituency and wanted to retain it.“
