CHENNAI: The DinamalarNews7 Tamil opinion poll has predicted 30 seats for DMK, 24 for AIADMK, 1each for DMDK (Sivakasi) and BJP (Vilavancode in Kanyakumari) and a tie between
DMK and
AIADMK in 1 constituency out of 57 constituencies in South Tamil Nadu, except Thiruchendur.
Districts covered by this segment of the survey include Dindigul, Sivaganga, Madurai, Theni, Virudhunagar, Ramanathapuram, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari. In Dindigul, the survey has predicted 1 seat for AIADMK, 5 for DMK and a tie between the two Dravidian majors in Oddanchatram. In Sivaganga, the poll predicts two seats each for AIADMK and DMK.In Madurai, the AIADMK and DMK are tied at 5 seats each, in Theni it is 3 (AIADMK) and 1 (DMK).
In Virudhunagar, the AIADMK is likely to win 4 seats, DMK 2 and DMDK will get one seat. In Ramanathapuram, it is 2 seats each for AIADMK and DMK, while in Thoothukudi, the poll predicts 4 seats for DMK and 1 for AIADMK.
