After her 'Kodaikanal Won't' video on mercury pollution went viral last year, Sofia Ashraf is rapping about universal adult franchise now. The 29-year-old Tamil rapper and musician Suren Vikash, 30, have made a three-minute video on the importance of voting and the NOTA - none of the above - option. Their song 'En Vote Unakillai' (My vote is not for you) is going viral on college campuses. The video, produced by Chennai-based Put Chutney and Mumbai startup Culture Machine, has got 1,543 views on YouTube and 200-plus retweets. "We made the video in one single shot to signify that elections are our one shot at democracy. It is the one place where we can actually register a protest or make a difference. Unhappy with all candidates in the fray? Press NOTA," says Ashraf.
