New software introduced to address grievances of voters
PUDUCHERRY: The Election Commission has introduced new software to facilitate speedy redressal of grievances of voters.
Chief Electoral Officer of Puducherry V Candavelou told reporters here today that the mobile app "samadhan" has been introduced to enable voters to file complaints regarding the electoral rolls, photo ID cards and other grievances of the voters.
He said that "suvidha" is another single window system for approval of all campaign related applications.
He said that these facilities were successful in the Assembly polls in Bihar and have been introduced in Puducherry which goes to polls on May 16.
