Squad removes poll propaganda material

Kochi: The defacement squad on election duty has removed 3,774 election-related propaganda material from across the district.

Prior to the elections, the squad removed and destroyed banners, flex boards, posters and wall paintings that violated election norms. As many as 3,024 posters, 273 banners and 458 flexes were removed.

In Perumbavoor constituency, the squad removed 246 posters, 144 flex boards which was the highest in the city. The squad will continue to function during the course of elections in the city and will be actively involved in all constituencies particularly in the weeks to come.
