An LDF wave seems to be sweeping Thrissur district where the Front has secured decisive leads in all the 13 Assembly seats as counting was in progress on Thursday.

Thrissur: An LDF wave seems to be sweeping Thrissur district where the Front has secured decisive leads in all the 13 Assembly seats as counting was in progress on Thursday.
The leads vary from 1695 votes in Irinjalakkuda to 21370 votes in Kaipamangalam . The UDF is trailing behind even in its strongholds like Thrissur, Irinjalakuda, Ollur and Wadakkanchery.
The NDA was in second position in Puthukkad in the first couple of rounds, but the BJP-led alliance has now been pushed to the third place even there.

Padmaja Venugopal , KPCC secretary and daughter of veteran Congress leader late K Karunakaran, has been trailing behind V S Sunilkumar of the CPI right from beginning and is now behind by 4844 votes in Thrissur seat.
UDF Chief Whip and Kerala Congress leader Thomas Unniyadan is trailing behind the LDF nominee Prof K U Arunan by 1695 votes in Irinjalakkuda.
In Ollur, the LDF nominee K Rajan of the CPI is leading by 12,441 votes against sitting MLA M P Vincent of the Congress.
Kerala Planning Board member and CMP leader C P John of the UDF is trailing behind A C Moideen of the CPM by 4285 votes.
The LDF candidate Taison Master of the CPI is leading by 21,370 votes against the UDF nominee M T Muhammed Nahas of the RSP at Kaipamangalam.
At Wadakkanchery which is being represented by Minister C N Balakrishnan in the outgoing Assembly, Mary Thomas of the CPM is leading by 3064 votes against Anil Akkara of the Congress.
