UPMSP UP Board Class 12 Result 2024 LIVE: UP Board Class 12 Results Bounce Back! Pass Rate Climbs to 82.60% After Dip
UP Board 12th Result Online Live: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) on Saturday announced the UP Board 12th Result 2024. UPMSP Secretary Dibyakant Shukla announced the UP Board Results 2024 through a press conference at board's Prayagraj headquarters.
Students who have participated in the UP Board Class 12 Exam 2024 can now check and download their online marksheets from the official website of the board at upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in.
Along with UP Class 12 results 2024, the board has also declared the results of Class 10 Matric.
To access their scorecard, candidates must enter their registration number/roll number and password. This year, the board conducted the intermediate exams from February 22 to March 9, involving a substantial number of 25,60,882 students. Among these examinees, 11,48,076 were girls, reflecting significant female representation, while 4,12,806 were boys. The Class 12 UPMSP board exams were held across 7,864 examination centers.

UP Board Class 12 Result: What After the Scorecards are Released?
Re-verification: Students dissatisfied with their scorecards can choose re-evaluation or re-verification. Comprehensive details regarding this process will be accessible on upmsp.edu.in shortly after the results are published.
Supplementary Exams: Students unable to pass the Class 12th exams can opt for supplementary examination. Those failing in two subjects are eligible for supplementary exams as a second chance, while students failing in all subjects will need to repeat the academic year.

UP Board Inter Result 2024: Last year's Class 12 toppers
Rank 1: Divyanshi hailing from Fatehpur secured the top position with an impressive 95.4% marks.
Rank 2: Anshika Yadav, representing Prayagraj, secured the second position with 95% marks.
Rank 3: Yogesh Pratap Singh, from Barabanki, clinched the third spot with 95% marks.
Rank 4: Balkrishna, also from Fatehpur, secured the fourth position with a notable 94.20%.
Rank 5: Prakhar Pathak, representing Kanpur, secured the fifth position with 94% marks.
Rank 2: Anshika Yadav, representing Prayagraj, secured the second position with 95% marks.
Rank 3: Yogesh Pratap Singh, from Barabanki, clinched the third spot with 95% marks.

UP Board Result 2024: 45 inmates passed Inter exams last year
In UPMSP Class 12 results 2023, 90 students were those who were imprisoned in different jails of the state and had registered in the Intermediate board examination. Out of these, 65 appeared in the exams and 45 of them cleared the 12th class from UP Board.

The exams were held in two sessions: the morning session was conducted from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, and the evening session was held from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

UP Board 12th Result 2024: 19,04,717 students cleared the exam last year
A total of 27,68,180 students were registered for the exam, out of which 25,71,002 students appeared. Among them, 19,04,717 students were declared successful, achieving a pass percentage of 75.52%. Shubh from Mahoba, Saurabh Gangwar from Pilibhit, and Anamika from Etawah secured the top position by scoring 486 marks out of 500.

In Class 12 board exams, the UP Board uses a grading system to assess students' performance. Here's how the grading system works:
91-100 marks - A1, with a grade point of 10
81-90 marks - A2, with a grade point of 9
71-80 marks - B1, with a grade point of 8

UP Board 12th Result 2024 Live: Passing Criteria and Minimum Score Required
As per the UP Board's guidelines, students must get at least 33 percent marks in every subject to pass the exam. In simpler terms, they need to score at least 33 marks out of 100 in each subject to pass. If they don't achieve this minimum score in any subject, they'll have to take a compartment exam later to pass that subject.
