West Bengal 10th Result 2026: Official webite crashes, check result on TOI portal now
WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2026 will be declared by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education on May 8, 2026, with nearly 9.71 lakh students across the state waiting for their Class 10 scorecards. The board conducted the examination from February 2 to February 12, 2026, at more than 2,600 centres across West Bengal.
Once the result link is activated, students will be able to check their marks through the official websites as well as the Times of India (TOI) result portal at 10.15 am.
In case of heavy traffic or website crashes on official portals, the TOI platform will act as an alternative access point for students. Apart from this, DigiLocker and SMS services will also be available for students facing technical delays on result day.
Students can easily access their results through the TOI Education result page by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the TOI Education WB Madhyamik Result 2026 page
Step 2: Enter your roll number in the required field
Step 3: Enter your date of birth in DDMMYY format
Step 4: Click on the submit button
After submission, the marksheet will appear on the screen, which students can download and save for future admission and reference until schools issue original certificates. Students are advised to carefully verify all details after downloading the result.
To clear the Madhyamik examination, candidates must secure at least 34% overall marks (272 out of 800) and minimum passing marks in each subject. Students who do not clear a few subjects may later be eligible for compartment examinations conducted by the board.
In 2025, the overall pass percentage stood at 86.56%, while in 2024 it was 83.61%, showing a stable trend in recent years. The board had declared the 2025 results on May 2, and schools are expected to distribute original certificates shortly after the 2026 result announcement.
