WBJEE counselling 2020 registration begins: Key points to know

NEW DELHI: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board on Wednesday commenced the first round of registration WBJEE on its official website. Candidates can register for WBJEE first round counselling through the official website of WBJEEB — wbjeeb.nic.in.
Candidates can register for the first round of registration up to August 25, 2020. Along with registration, candidates need to upload the scanned copy of original documents and fill choices.Candidates can upload corrected documents up to August 26, 2020. However, candidates have to lock their choices from August 25 to 28 and the first round of seat allotment result will be released on August 31, 2020.

What documents are needed?
Candidates should upload the scanned copies of the documents mentioned below. It should be noted that candidates need to scan the originals (not xerox copy) by a colour scanner in at 150 DPI and save in your PC in PDF format.

How much is the registration fee?
There is no fee for WBJEE 2020 candidates. JEE Main candidates would need to pay a fee of Rs 500.
How many rounds of counselling will be there?
At least three rounds counselling will be there for WBJEE-2020 candidates and at least one round for JEE(Main) candidates as well as seats in Architecture.
How to arrange choices?
According to your preference. Keep the best choice at the top. TFW seats are shown as separate choices for every institute and every branch. If you are ready to accept either TFW or Non-TFW seat, you need to select both. If you select only a Non-TFW seat, you will not be allotted any TFW seat even if available. Similarly, if you select only the TFW seat, you will not be allotted any non-TFW seat even if available.
How many choices can be selected?
Candidates can select as many as they want. Select the maximum number of choices and at least 20.
