WBJEE 2026: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the official notification for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2026, announcing the complete schedule for registration, admit cards, and the examination date.

According to the notification, the registration process will begin tomorrow, March 10, 2026. Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance test must complete their application through the official portal within the given deadline.

The WBJEE 2026 examination will be conducted on May 24, 2026 for admission to undergraduate engineering and related programmes offered by institutions across West Bengal.

WBJEE 2026 registration dates

According to the board’s schedule, the online application process will remain open from March 10 to April 5, 2026. During this period, candidates must complete both the registration and the payment of the application fee through the online portal.

Applicants are advised to fill out the form carefully and complete the payment process before the deadline, as forms submitted without payment will not be considered valid.

Correction window for application forms

After the application process closes, the board will provide a correction facility from April 7 to April 9, 2026.

During this period, candidates will be able to review and modify certain details in their submitted application forms. After making the necessary changes, applicants can also download the revised confirmation page.

The board has advised candidates to verify all the details carefully before the correction window closes.

Admit card release

The WBJEE 2026 admit cards will be available for download from May 15, 2026. Registered candidates will be able to access their hall tickets online until 4:00 p.m. on May 24, the day of the examination.

Candidates must download and carry their admit card to the examination centre, as it will be required for entry into the exam hall.

Examination schedule

The entrance examination will be conducted in two separate papers on the same day.

• Paper I (Mathematics): 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Paper II (Physics and Chemistry): 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Candidates appearing for the entrance test are required to take both papers as part of the admission process.

Result declaration

The board has not yet announced the WBJEE 2026 result date. According to the notification, the result schedule will be released later.

The Board has also said that the announced dates are tentative and may be changed in exceptional circumstances if necessary.
