CAT Percentile
IIM Ahmedabad accepts students based on their percentile scores in the Common Admission Test (CAT). The qualifying CAT cutoffs remain unchanged for the upcoming academic session. For the IIM Ahmedabad shortlist, the overall qualifying CAT cutoffs are 80 percentile for the General Category, 75 percentile for NC-OBC and Transgender Categories, 70 percentile for SC and PwD Categories, and 60 percentile for ST Category. The shortlisting process for IIM Ahmedabad will start in January 2024, following the announcement of the CAT 2023 results.

Applicants who meet the CAT cut-off and qualify for the IIM Ahmedabad Personal Interview (PI) shortlist need to complete an online application form to confirm their participation in the PI round. Here are the steps to follow:

Steps to apply for IIM Ahmedabad
Step 1. Visit the official IIM Ahmedabad website at iima.ac.in
Step 2. On the homepage, click on 'Admission Status: PGP 2024-26 batch'
Step 3. Now, enter your 'CAT Registration Number' and 'Email ID'
Step 4. Your PI shortlist status will be displayed on the screen
Step 5. Check your status and confirm your PI participation

Written Ability Test (WAT)
The Writing Ability Test (WAT) is a 30-minute essay writing assessment designed to evaluate your communication and analytical abilities. The essay topic will be revealed on the test day, and you'll be given 30 minutes to write an essay on that particular subject.

Personal Interview (PI)
