UPTET 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test notification has been released. The registration process started on March 27, 2026 and it is currently ongoing. Interested candidates can apply through the official website at upessc.up.gov.in.
The examination authority has also introduced a One Time Registration (OTR) system this year. Candidates must complete the OTR process before filling out the application form. Without completing OTR, candidates will not be able to apply for the examination.
According to the schedule, the registration process will remain open until April 26, 2026. The UPTET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on July 2, 3, and 4, 2026.

- Primary Level (Classes 1 to 5): Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50 percent marks and they must hold a Diploma in Elementary Education of at least two years duration or equivalent qualification
- Upper Primary Level (Classes 6 to 8): Candidates must hold a graduation degree with at least 50 percent marks and they must have a Diploma in Elementary Education of at least two years duration or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree, according to the official notification released earlier.

- Visit the official website at upessc.up.gov.in
- Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process
- Upload required documents including photograph and signature
- Generate OTR ID after submitting details
- Log in using OTR ID and fill application form
- Pay the application fee through online mode
- Submit the form and download confirmation page
