The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has opened the application window for recruitment to 115 Group B and Group C posts in the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board. The process, which began on April 2, 2026, will continue till April 22, 2026, with a correction window available until April 29.
The recruitment, notified under Advertisement No. 02-Exam/2026, is aimed at filling key technical and administrative positions to strengthen the state’s environmental monitoring and regulatory framework.
According to the official notification, the vacancies span multiple posts, including Scientific Assistant, Junior Engineer, Laboratory Assistant, Monitoring Assistant, Assistant Accountant, and Law Officer. The roles are distributed across Group B and C categories and cater to candidates from science, engineering, commerce, and legal backgrounds.
Candidates seeking to apply must have qualified the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025, which serves as the primary screening criterion. Shortlisting for the next stage will be based on PET scores, followed by a main written examination for final selection.
Educational qualifications vary by post, ranging from Class 12 (Science stream) for assistant-level roles to graduate degrees, diplomas, or professional qualifications such as B.Com and LLB for specialised positions.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official UPSSSC portal using their PET 2025 registration credentials. After filling in personal and academic details, candidates are required to upload relevant documents, pay the fee, and download the confirmation page for future reference.

The commission has fixed a uniform application fee of ₹25 for all categories. Applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories as per state government norms.
