UPSSSC ASO, ARO registration window 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has started accepting applications for 929 positions of Assistant Statistical Officer and Assistant Research Officer. According to the official notification, the application process has started from today, April 21, 2026, and will continue until May 11, 2026. It should be noted that according to the official notification, applicants need to submit their application form along with fee payment until May 11, whereas the correction process will be continued until May 18, 2026.
The commission is planning to hire 929 candidates as Assistant Statistical Officer and Assistant Research Officer. Only those candidates who have participated in the PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test) 2025 can apply.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in subjects such as Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Economics, or related fields from a recognised university. Additionally, basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Hindi written in the Devanagari script are essential requirements.
Age should lie between 21 to 40 years for any candidate who wishes to apply. Flexibility will be available for reservations as per the guidelines of the government.
The amount required for paying the application fee is Rs 25 for all types of candidates. The payment method includes debit card, credit card, net banking, and UPI.
The selection procedure will comprise a written test. However, only those candidates who have qualified in PET 2025 will be able to take the main test.
