UPSC CSE results of recommended applicants published: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Reserve List and Marks of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024, which includes the finalisation of recommendations of 114 more candidates to be selected to fill unoccupied positions in the top administrative cadres in India. This is the final step in the process of hiring the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other the Group A and Group B Central Services.
The reserve list indicates that it is a merit-based list in the following categories:
These will be chosen into central services, along with the previous portion of the main list. Communication is used to finalise the appointments, which are made by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) to the recommended candidates.

- General Category: 94 applicants.
- OBC (Other Backward Classes): 13 applicants.
- EWS (Economically Weaker Sections): 5 applicants.
- SC (Scheduled Caste): 1 candidate.
- ST ( Scheduled Tribe): 1 candidate.
These will be chosen into central services, along with the previous portion of the main list. Communication is used to finalise the appointments, which are made by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) to the recommended candidates.
