NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC CMS 2024 Exam Schedule today, May 21. Candidates who have successfully registered for the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2024 can check the exam date and schedule at the official website of the Commission -
upsc.gov.in.
This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 827 medical officers vacancies in different government departments.
As per the schedule, the UPSC CMS 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, July 14, 2024. The examination schedule includes Paper I (Code No. 1) for General Medicine and Paediatrics from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. In the afternoon, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Paper II (Code No. 2) will be held for Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, and Preventive & Social Medicine.

The UPSC CMS 2024 exam will have two phases: i) A written exam consisting of two papers, each carrying a maximum of 250 marks, totaling 500 marks. Each paper will have a duration of two hours. ii) A Personality Test worth 100 marks for candidates who qualify based on the written exam results.
