UPPRPB Home Guard recruitment 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has launched a massive recruitment drive for 41,424 Home Guard posts across the state. With the registration window set to close soon, eligible candidates are advised to complete the application process without delay. The application window is currently open from 18 November to 17 December, 2025, with candidates required to complete a One-Time Registration (OTR) on the UPPRPB portal before applying.
Eligible candidates must be 10th pass, aged between 18 and 30 years, and meet prescribed physical standards. The recruitment will include a written examination, physical tests, document verification, and medical examination.

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) forms a crucial part of the UP Home Guard recruitment. For male candidates, the test requires completing a 4.8 km run within 28 minutes, while female candidates must run 2.4 km within 16 minutes. Beyond the standard physical tests, candidates can earn additional marks for certain qualifications and certifications.
These include NCC certificates at various levels (“C”, “B”, or “A”), participation in Bharat Scouts, certification as an Aapda Mitra (Disaster Mitigation Volunteer), or possession of a valid driving license. These extra points can enhance a candidate’s overall score and improve their chances of selection in the final merit list.

- Educational Qualification: Minimum Class 10 pass from a recognized board.
- Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025):
- General: 18–30 years
- Age relaxations for SC, ST, and OBC as per state norms
